I would like this more if the scrub element was a bit more aggressive. As is, the grit is so fine that I often can't even feel it on my hands or face as I put it on or wash it off. However, this is a great pre-shave conditioner. It works well, and it is great for every day use, but it could be a little grittier (thus, the 4/5 star rating).

I love this product. I use it twice a day. It is my morning scrub whether I shave or not, and my night time scrub. I really like the way the company early on went from a microplastics scrub to BAMBOO, a natural renewable resource. At first the bamboo particles were a little to fine. I did not quite feel the scrub but that was quickly corrected and it's been great for years. I have used Pacific Shaving Company products for years.

I have commented on PS products in the past, and my enthusiasm for them products hasn't waned. As a wet shaver for 50 years I've used many very good shave related products, but PS is my favorite choice - very cost effective, all natural ingredients & fragrant free. The shave cream gives exceptional lather, and here's a little tip: after using the pre-shave scrub, add 2-3 drops of the preshave oil with the shave cream in your scuttle & mix it up with a shave brush - greatest shave ever. Topped off with either the moisturizer or aftershave & you're on your way to a great face. Do yourself a big favor & try PS products, you'll be very pleased.

My skin feels so much better after using this pre scrub compared to my old pre shave and gives me a closer shave smells great too definitely buy again!

While I am new to the safety razor way of life and I have not used any other pre-scrub product, I do not feel inhibited in recommending this product. I enjoy using the scrub and immediately feel the effects of the scrub. I enjoy the fragrance. I enjoy the whole process of shaving and protecting my skin as I have never before.

This pre-scrub is a great exfoliator. My pores are really clear. I like the way the bits of bamboo feel when I'm washing my face with it. Part of my regular routine now!

I have used the scrub for years. I use it both prior to shaving and when just washing my face. I feel clean and the fragrance is nice (some scrubs out there smell ugg). Also like that the product is eco friendly- uses bamboo instead of micro plastics to do the exfoliating. Will keep coming back for more.

Just a little works great to set up for pre- shave oil & a smooth shave.

This is a great face wash. Especially for the price compared to other products on the market. It laves my face feeling rejuvenated and not dried out. It is also great and prepping my face for a good shave. Definitely recommend.

Not much for pre-scrub, but combined with the organic shave cream system closest shave ever. Impressive - no more P&G products. Well done.

I've never used a pre-shave before and I must say that I really enjoy the feeling I get when I rub it onto my face. It makes my skin tingle.

Good cleansing action but could be a little more abrasive. There isn’t enough bamboo fiber or grit to be a superior cleanser.

I can hardly say more good things about this product that haven’t been said here. This scrub works without being uncomfortable or irritating. This is particularly important to me because I shave both my face and my head. I needed something I could use on my scalp that didn’t irritate it so much that it hurt to shave it. I have found my scrub.

Tried the scrub this morning before shave and it was very refreshing. The abrasiveness was just enough and it has a nice smell.

When I bought my first tube of Bamboo Scrub, I only did so because I'm something of obsessive when it comes to shaving. I just wanted to try it out. With my very first shave I realized how essential it is. Before it, when shaving, my razor was immediately loaded with white stuff. I came to understand that this was skin cells clogging my razor. That had to make the razor less effective and last less long. Upon my first use I found my razor immediately free of being clogged. I'm able to use my razors for nearly two weeks of almost daily shaving which is twice as long as I used to be able to do. So, great product. Now an essential in my kit.

I’ve tried other preshave products and was disappointed. Didn’t feel like it helped prep my skin at all. When I got the Bamboo Pre Shave Scrub I immediately tried it out and was blown away. Even gf was impressed with not only how smooth skin was but how much better it smelled. You will not want to go back to anything but Pacific Shaving products

Nice little cleanser face felt fresh and ready for a clean straight edge shave.

This scrub is not too thick, and feels great to quickly slap on and rinse off.

I'vebeen using bamboo face scrub for a while & think it's terrific! It goes on easily & the beads are not rough. Rinses off easily & my skin feels great!

The Bamboo pre-shave scrub works very well. It has a nice clean smell and feel, and rinses off easily, Best of all, it doesn't contain plastic beads which are harmful to the environment,

I tried the Bamboo Scrub. Now I'm hooked! This one is vastly superior! It doesn't feel gritty on my skin & can use it every day! The Tube is in the small side but this scrub is so good that I'll deal with it. I've got sensitive skin so I've got to be cautious. After use, my skin feels clean & ready to shave. Like your Natural Shave Cream, it rinses clean & quick. With a short beard around my jaw, chin & upper lip, that's important. Thanks Pacific Shaving Co for great products!

I've used both soap and shaving oil for my pre-shave routine, and neither is better than the Pacific Shaving Bamboo Pre-Shave Scrub. It doesn't have a strong scent and exfoliates without irritating.

Unlike most face scrubs, this one exfoliates nicely without tearing up your face. I like the fact it can be used daily prior to shaving and is non-irritating. Keep up the good work PSC!

Gentle on your skin and it does help improve shaving experience

I love the pre-shave exfoliating wash. Cleans my face of any dead skin without a strong abrasive feel. Washes off clean. Great companion to the caffeinated shave cream and aftershave.

great products that don't harsh your skin face. i have sensitive skin and prone to develop acne, and this product has not worse the situation.

I really like this pre-shave wash. I definitely get a better shave. I like knowing the ingredients are natural/healthy/good for my skin. It is also very affordable. I always buy their shave cream and use the buy 2 get 1 free promotion.

I used this for the first time this morning. A couple of weeks ago, I purchased your caffeinated shave cream at Target, which I love. So I researched your other products online and ordered the pre-shave exfoliating wash. It worked very well and has a nice clean scent. I especially like that it's cruelty-free, and doesn't contain plastic beads.

While the shaving cream, after shave, and pre shave are ok products they are not nearly enough product for the cost. I use different products from day to day do to needing to shave everyday and my face is constantly irritated. I had hope these products would eliminate that but they have not. I would neither recommend or advise against purchasing these products other than to say they need to have more product inside the bottle.

I love this face wash. It is gentle but does a great job of cleaning my face and getting ti ready for a shave. A little bit goes a long way and it smells nice.

I love how the exfolliant pre-shave saves my blades. By removing the dead skin cells, the blade moves better with the shaving oil, I notice that the blades aren't filled up after each pass and I keep my blades (Gillette, non-disposable turbo blades) for 2 weeks at a time. Maybe I'm spending as much as discarding the blades more frequently but it's worth the way the shave is improved.

I'm always a little skeptical of any face wash/exfoliator, but this exfoliator by PSC is the real deal. Makes your skin fresh and clean and allows for a cleaner, smoother shave. This is a keeper.

A very gentle scrub. I have had a lot of pre skin cancer issues the last several years and my skin is very sensitive. This scrub is very gentle and doesn't leave my skin raw. It makes the shave go very well.

While this exfoliating scrub preps my skin beautifully, it is how it extends the life of my higher end disposable blades that's really impressive. I've gone from 6 or 7 days per blade (using the blade oil) if lucky to 17 to 18 days (still using the oil) and only moving on because it seems crazy to continue with this blade. Look at your blade before and after using this wash: the dead skin on the blade before and none after is amazing. A truly great product along with the shaving oil and blade oil and nick stick. I have been using your facial scrub and shaving cream for the past two weeks. I can, without hesitation, say that these are the BEST shaving products I have EVER used. I shave EVERY day and my skin has never felt this great! I will never use another product again!
