You don’t have to buy shaving blades very often when you use this oil. I find that I end up having to replace the oil often cause I use it so much. Also I don’t shave often but when I do it’s a big job. Don’t listen to what others say about shaving blades use whatever works for you. With this oil you blades will last a lot longer then there suppose to.

I shave with a DE razor and my blade of choice is the Treat Carbon Steel black beauty. In my experience, a carbon blade just gives a smoother shave than a stainless blade. Problem is they don't last nearly as long. They begin to rust and pit from the instant you begin your first shave with one. Started using this blade oil about two years ago and can say that it truly extends the life of the blade. After each shave I take the blade out and rinse and dry it and then place one drop of this oil on the blade and carefully coat both sides of both edges with it. Reassemble the razor and put it away and the blade is protected from rust and pitting until the next shave.

I’ve been using this product for quite a while. Sad that it isn’t available on amazon anymore. Anyway using this oil after every shave extends the life of your blades really well. Even the cheap blades, however the higher quality blades last even longer. Glade since blades can be costly at times. Also there will be those moments where it’s not in the budget to get new blades. Hope this product never gets discontinued. Also hope it returns to amazon.com

I had been using Dovo razor oil for a while which is paraffin based. This is a much better product in my opinion and I use it on my straight razors as well as my Harrys cartridge razor. If flows easily and leaves a nice protective coating plus extending the life of the edge.

Very practical purpose oil for shaving. Double life of razor blades, increases sharpness. One negative point; that the blade oil bottle should be $2 cheaper in comparison of using a new blade, for each razor life period, without using the oil. The shaving oil expense adds up.

I religiously put this oil on my disposable razor after each shave and drying off and it really extends the life of blades. I wish I knew about this stuff a long time ago.....would have saved a lot of $$$.

I've never seen blade oil before. I use Feather blades, which are fairly aggressive, and heaven help you if the blade starts to get a little beat up around the fourth shave of the week. This oil actually keeps the blade from pitting and oxidizing to make it last longer, stay sharper, and glide more easily across your skin. I'm really hooked on this stuff now because it means I don't have to use the Nick Stick as often. Try it, you'll like it!

I've been a wet shaver for 50+ years and have used a great many, and very good, shave items. This is the third product I've been pleased to use from PS. I don't know whether there are any other such blade oil products on the market, and never gave such an idea a thought, but I'm impressed with this. Quite simply, it works as advertised - my blades (I use Feather) are cleaner, smoother and truly improve my shave. That blade life will be extended is only an added bonus - I'm more concerned that my blades are now safer on my face. PS has my most enthusiastic vote as an innovative company, offering very superior products (I also use their caffeinated shave cream & balm) and at a price that simply can't be beat. And, what makes these products even more attractive is that they're all natural - this earth is my responsibility as well as anyone else's. Try PS, you'll be impressed.

I thought add an extra routine to my shaving would not yield results. However, taking extra time to put a dab or two on my blades has made shaving easier and has kept my blades sharper longer. It's worth effort in having a good shave each time and keeping more money in your pocket. Thanks

This oil works perfectly with my Merkur razor blades at a point that I don't shave if I run out of oil ;) it's like the hot sauce on my chicken wings, can't go with it! I usually buy them from a reseller but I'm no where near disappoint to have dealt directly with this friendly family company. Thanks

This product is nothing short of amazing! Using Shick Quarttro blades they are now lasting 2 weeks+, I will be using the blade oil from now on.

While the product works as advertized and extends the life of my blades (5 star), the bottle (2 star) is incredibly small and hard to use. I doubt that I'm the only guy with large hands. I would find a larger bottle easier to use.

I tried the blade oil for a few weeks now and it is great stuff. I noticed the improvement, my blades last longer and the applicator is easier to use than the earlier model. Thanks.

I have a pretty heavy beard, and I can get 2-3 weeks per Mach 3 blade using the blade oil. Saves money and reduces waste -- double win!
